The Fiscal Cliff

I read this post on a facebook feed. Thought I would share it with you. But before I do, I want you to know I agree with the post. Our own government TAKES from us. They have much better insurance than any of us could wish for. Our government GIVES to the rich. It doesn't matter who is Republican or Democrat. What matters is once they get into office, they STEAL everything that belongs to us, the American citizen. Take away all the perks they have. Make them work for it just like us. This Fiscal cliff they keep talking about is just another 'emergency' for the United States. People need to step up for office. Just the common man. Fuck those who are in office right now. How the hell Osama got re-elected is beyond me. I don't think people who get social security should suffer. Hell, all of us have paid into it and damn it, it should be there for us. Likewise, I don't think millionaires should be taxed anymore. It's our government who waste our tax dollars by paying $27 for a fucking hammer. And why are we allowing the White House to be redecorated as much as it does? Why are we not voting on this? Why are we not voting on a lot of shit? Check out this website that lists all the fucking idiotic things our government is wasting money on. And they want to cut OUR benefits that we've paid into from day one on the job?

Quote from facebook:
Rob Hazz Wogerman via Sean Selby ‎"Just four years ago, we were told that if we didn’t allow Congress to give Wall Street almost a trillion dollars of our money, the end of the world would occur. The “bold” legislation was necessary to “save the financial system.” Other than preventing a lot of billionaires who made bad investments from losing their money, I’m not sure what that was supposed to mean." "We were told after 911 that “the world changed” and the 4th, 5th and 6th amendments to the Constitution would have to be trashed. Americans now subject themselves to unreasonable searches without warrant merely for the “privilege” of getting on a plane. They allow presidents to arrest American citizens without a warrant or charges and hold them indefinitely without recourse to a writ of habeas corpus." "You can see where this is heading. Sometime before January 1, some gargantuan bill will be forced through to avert the phony disaster. It will contain larger increases to both federal spending and taxes than the fiscal cliff represents, along with the additional pork needed to get the holdout votes. There will likely be further loss of basic liberties buried in it somewhere as well. And leaders from both parties will wave it around in triumph as a “bipartisan solution.” "When will Americans ever learn?"

Sure, take away ALL our rights from the Constitution. No one's looking.
