When I read the story on yahoo sports about Roger Goodell saying fans want an 18 game season, I was shocked.
Fans want reasonable PRICED tickets to the games! We want to be able to see a pre-season game without having to mortgage our home! We want to be able to watch games on the regular channels! Some of us can't afford extra money every month for more cable channels to get the NFL network to watch games on Sunday & Monday nights!

Get with Goodell. You are a goober who is so out of touch with what the fans want.

Drill baby drill in Alaska and off shore. I don't want any problems for the wildlife in Alaska. But we have the ability to have the pipe lines off the ground where it won't hurt the bears and other four legged babies running around.
We have our own timber. Cut a tree down, plant 5 more in it's place. So on and so on.

GREEN BAY PACKERS WIN SUPER BOWL XLV

And for all of us fans who don't speak XLV, that would be 45. Super Bowl 45. Congratulations Green Bay and the entire state of Wisconsin.

I actually thought the Steelers would come out, and they did, as a mean machine and hit hard and roll over the Packers. Especially since they were missing two key starters. And they did. Green Bay looked lost. Nelson dropped four passes even my dead grandmother could have caught. He chocked. But Aaron stayed with him and Nelson finally caught a pass they needed to remain in the game. Then Jennings caught the touchdown to put the game away.

But the Steelers DID come roaring back after half time. Prior to, the score was 21-3. At half time, 10-21. And the steelers came battling back to make it 17-21. But they never took the lead. Not once. Even though they scared us, they couldn't knock down our down. And the Packers held them to a 31-25 victory. The Steelers never held the lead.
I think it's sweet justice they lost. Baby Ben wasn't suspended for nothing at the beginning of the season. If that many woman, um, no wait, if ONE woman claimed a man raped her, let alone a multitude of women, a regular joe would be in prison.
I think baby Ben should have been suspended for the ENTIRE season.
So I suppose losing the Super Bowl will just have to do as the perfect punishment.

Oh, and if you're looking to find what happened at the half time show, it was boring. Go look somewhere else if you want a rave review about it. That includes the commercials. Bor-ring.

Upillar.com vs eBay, Craigslist, uBid, eBid, Sell and others

Upillar.com recently received a ton of advertisement for free when talk show host Glenn Beck announced for a week or so that he was putting his items on upillar.com to sell for charity.
When I heard this, I immediately went to upillar.com and signed up! This FREE classified selling site is the best thing to come along since Craigslist. There are no fees to sell, no fees for posting, no fees for anything! It's just you selling, the buyer buying, you collecting the money and you shipping the item.
eBay could learn a thing or two about this site.

Some sites, such as eBid.net, have a weird fee schedule. I've been a member for 4 yrs but have never sold anything.
I have not signed up for ubid.com because they require a credit card number when registering.
Sell.com is like Craigslist and Upillar.com . The cost of your ad however, depends on which category you post it in. You can upgrade your membership and the cost of an ad can go down. Again for me, a weird fee schedule. But here recently, I see all their ads are free. So I'm guessing they weren't making the kind of money they wanted and just put everything as a free listing.

Another great site, at least one that I like, is iOffer.com . It's not an auction site. More like a bargaining site. You pay a modest fee when you sell an item. Otherwise, there are no fees and you can leave your item up for forever.

Do a search for online auction sites and you will get a plethora of lists. Some even rank the auction sites. Those that do, mostly do the top 10. Some will do a top 100.
By doing this search, I stumbled upon Webstore.com . Seems like a nice little place. I will be checking it out.

So will upillar.com be the next big thing? Some seem to think so. I know I do!

Super bowl XLV

It comes down to the playoffs today folks. We've got Green Bay vs. Chicago and Jets vs Pittsburgh. Personally, I'd like to see the Packers vs the Jets.

I don't much like either team. It could be Chicago vs the Jets. I just don't want to see Pittsburgh make it. I don't think Big Ben should even be aloud to play. Since he is, I don't think Pittsburgh should be celebrated at all. Any man accused of 5 rapes, regardless of whether he was charged for them, something about that isn't right. Just as I'm very happy the Eagles got knocked out of the playoffs. I don't buy Michael Vick's act of having turned the other cheek. He doesn't look sincere when he talks about how wrong it was of him to have done those horrible things to animals.

So again, if Pittsburgh wants to celebrate their team with an accused rapist playing for them, I have to wonder what kind of people live in Pittsburgh. I also have to wonder about the integrity of the NFL for allowing those types of players to play. Not to mention the owners of those teams.
Then again, the Patriots only got a slap on the wrist when they were caught cheating. Those 3 Super bowl wins are tainted. The NFL should have had the balls to seize those trophies and ban the Patriots from the league at least a season or two.

Oh well. Time for the end of another season and onto another Super bowl.

Well, since my last post, they've gone and done it. The FCC now has CONTROL of the internet. I suggest you contact your Senator and tell him/her how you feel about this. I warned everyone and now it is a reality. The Government is getting very intrusive into our lives. They can now shut down any website. They can tell the cable companies to allow other business' to use their lines.
